Our Story
Over 17 years ago, our founder Mike sparked his first weld in a garage shop — driven by a commitment to do things right, every time. From foreman to fabricator, he saw first-hand the pitfalls of delays, poor fit-up and broken promises that plague heavy-steel projects. Swapping the garage for a dedicated facility, he built Piedmont Steel on a simple creed: reputation matters, quality is non-negotiable, and your word is your bond.
Today, as a family-owned business, we still operate under those same values, delivering fabrication, manufacturing, and turnkey structural solutions that contractors and owners can count on.
